Chicago Tribune Picks Johnson

Libertarian Party presidential candidate, Gary Johnson, picks up another endorsement. This time from the Chicago Tribune. This comes as a surprise if only because, being from authoritarian Chicago, I would think they'd be big on Clinton.

"A principled option for U.S. president: Endorsing Gary Johnson...Every American who casts a vote for him is standing for principles — and can be proud of that vote. Yes, proud of a candidate in 2016."

Translation: We're O.K. with Trump winning, but we know we'll be ashamed to show our faces if we actually support him, so...a shuck here and a jive there, and we've covered our asses.

I still can't answer that question myself, and that's after a day has passed. And remmeber, it was a foreign leader he admired. I can't come up with a foreign leader, much less one I admire.

At least you have the common sense to not run for president. Unlike Goofy Gary who seems to be as ill-prepared as Trump.

Heck, just look north to Trudeau. Or Merkel, Cameron (who just left office), Allande, Ban Kip Moon, Dalai Lama (leader in exile). Shimon Peres who just passed away. Just don't say Duerte 'cuz that guy is flat out nuts like Trump but way more violent.

Never heard of him and I am a news junkie, so I won't blame Johnson for not bringing him up.
