Exorcist Priest Dead

This is the fist I've heard that the real life priest that the movie The Exorcist was based on had died...under peculiar circumstances according to the Daily Mail. That was back in 1999, so nothing really new. I'm just surprised I hadn't heard of it earlier. Looks like a documentary will be coming out over this, available on Sunday.

Funny article. How anyone can believe in the boogie man, ghosts, goblins, angels, gods, goddesses or mermaids in the year 2017 is beyond me. To blame a death on ghosts is the saddest excuse for reporting I've ever seen. Makes me wonder if he was murdered.

He once appeared, with Phyllis Diller, as a contestant on the Groucho Marx quiz show "YOU BET YOUR LIFE". When asked what he planned to do with his winnings, he replied "Take some time off to write a novel". Phylliss Diller was appearing at the PURPLE ONION in San Francisco, a housewife from Berkley trying to break in to comedy.

What I found weird was mention of the CIA in the story.

That;'s weird, because the author of "The Exorcist" , William Peter Blatty, just died too.
