Patriotic Mom Loses Her Spot

Sorry, Pam, but your Patriotic Mom blog just got knocked down from its place on my list as the scariest blog. Enter the Creative Conservative, or whatever he calls himself. Just found his blog this morning. It's hard to get all the way through this guy's blog as the way he has his blog set up it almost seems like one long post. It's tough on my attention span.

The scary thing about this guy, at least to me, is what seems to be his blind allegience to all things Republican, blaming anything to do with terrorism on the Democrats. He also seems to be a staunch supporter of anti- terror legislation, no matter what it involves. I have to wonder if he'd be as happy with the PATRIOT Act and the all the rest of this anti- terror stuff if a Democrat was in the White House and doing the same thing? Hard to say from my first read of his blog whether he's just blindly loyal to the Republicans, or an authoritarian blindly loyal to government power no matter what side of the aisle it comes from. If he's the latter, I wonder if those aren't the scariest people of all?

Fred,
If you are scared by the creative conservative and patriotic mom but not scared by the advocacy of seizure of private property such as implied by blogger jogger, YOU are scary.

I didn't see any reference to seizure of private property at http://saveancientforests.blogspot.com/. But I did see a reference to "nature cultists" on leonidas's blog, so I can understand where his comments are based. Heaven forbid anyone criticize liquidation logging, as practiced by Maxxam, even when it violates private property rights of hundreds of people who live down stream.

I do love seeing the Humboldt blogs out there. Wonder if there are any others.

When the government/watermelons dictate what I do with property for which I paid hard earned cash, they have in effect siezed it. If they wish it to be used for their designated purposes let them purchase it on the free market (probably with $ they have appropriated from taxpayers at gunpoint). Meanwhile, should my actions injure a 3rd party I am civily liable.

jj, go take a shower and brush your teeth, you are stinking up the place.

Oh GOODNESS! A certain "anonymous" is so ORIGINAL!

Leonidas - Maxxam didn't pay hard earned money for the land they are destroying. Maxxam acquired Pacific Lumber with junk bonds. It's the downstream residents who paid hard earned cash for their property, and who are having to spend that money on fixing the harm caused by Maxxam's upstream liquidation logging, as well as on lawyers to pursue civil complaints for damages.

Yeah, like they are paying for the lawyers.

jj appears to be a public indoctrination(school)center dropout. Either that or his/her talking points are obtained at the REDwood alliance action center. For "junk bond" see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junk_bonds . Also, if jj has found a method for "destroying land" he/she should patent it and immediately contact the warmongers at the Defense Dept.

The wikipedia link mentions Michael Milken who was a source for Hurwitz's junk bonds for the take-over.

Good suggestion about the warmongers. I'm sure the defense department could benefit from Maxxam-style destruction of land, water and communities.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the scariest anymore, Fred! I told you I wasn't all that farr-right on my blog.

As a conservative Republican, the blog you indicated is very difficult to surmise it's position. Did you do the "readability" quiz on it? :-)
