This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. As Rose pointed out in her comment back on my post on local gadfly and self- described communitarian, Stephen Lewis, Stephen Lewis has started his own blog. We'll have to add that one to my local blog list when I get a chance. Plenty of room there as some will soon be removed for lack of activity.

Looks to me like he's just another corporate shill wearing a populist mask.
From what I can see in those two posts on his blog, his thinking is actually rather conventional and shallow. But at least he ingratiated himself to the Zionist plutocracy that rules this sorry nation, with his gratuitous attack on Islam. Always essential to bow before the Master if you want to make a name for yourself in slaveland.
No small amount of ego, this guy. He says of himself that you can: "...find salvation in his precision evisceration of radical activist myths and rural legends."
He is opinionated, just like you, Anonymous 10:40. We all are or we wouldn't be here. You'll like him.
I'll say one thing; it looks like he'll still be sending in letters to the editor.
One of the reasons I started this blog was to get used to writing regularly so hopefully I'd have an easier time sending in letters to the editor.
Haven't sent a letter to the editor in since I started this blog so at least that part of my reasoning didn't work.

I don't hate Jews, as such, at all, Anon.r.mous. That's why I used the term "Zionist" plutotcracy, rather than Jewish plutocracy. Not all Jews support the terrorist State of Israel. And of course a great many Zionists are not Jews.
The State of Israel, America's unofficial 51st state, bloodsucks several billion dollars of American tax revenues every year, whether you like it or not. Americans have no say in the matter, because Americans are not in control of their own government.

I should have known that when someone asks the stupid question "Why do you hate Jews so much?", when all you have stated is that you are against Zionism, which is very obviously terroristic, such a questioner has a mind that is cloned by the corporate media. In other words, ignorant and closed.
"Moshe Goldberg", your cheap attempt to belittle those valid comments about Israel and Zionism only reveals your shallowness. What's the matter, are you unable to rationally debate the fact that Israel is a brutal, racist, terrorist nation?
