More on the City of Davis vs. Target
The Sacramento Bee ran another story on the City of Davis and its fight over a proposed Target store. Sounds much like some of the same arguments here with Marina Center. Looks like the hassle Target had opening in Eureka pales in comparison to the hassle they're going through getting set up in Davis.

Student population= more Leftie activists per square foot. That's why each of these college communities, Arcata, Davis, Santa Cruz, and of course, the granddaddy of them all, Berkeley, radiate out Progressive politicos going into their communities to fight against corporate capitalists.
In that process, these ambitious politicos make names for themselves and create opporunities for personal advancement--but it's all done on the backs of working class people who provide the economic surplus that funds these colleges.
