Internet Porn Prevents Rape?

Makes sense to me, the way they explain it. Thanks to Radley Balko, over at The Agitator, for the heads up to this link.

Well, maybe for teenagers ( source of the sample) but certainly
kiddie porn seems to accelerate
child molesters. Zero tolerance for the sexual exploitation of children.

Hey anonymous...what do you think of those tribes in the South Pacific where boys are supposed to perform oral sex on the adult males in an initiation rite?

Is this sexual exploitation? I am just curious to see how your "zero tolerance" rule applies across cultures.

Anyways, I saw this article somewhere else. It's my opinion the internet and video games have done a lot to reduce A LOT of things...just because if you're spending time on these somewhat consuming activities, it's doubtful you have as much time to go on your raping/pillaging/murdering sprees.

I would say the tribe has institutionalized child sexual exploitation.
Stone age rituals don't move me.
Or maybe you'd like your heart ripped out on a stone altar?
For a modern society that respects women and children ...no sex acts involving minors
No depictions of minors in sexual activity.

Child porn requires someone to take a picture of a child in a sexual context, therefor children are being abused to create the porn. A lot of it.

But hey, maybe that's a culture you'd enjoy.

And both research and empirical evidence demonstrates that molesters often go from the internet to the real thing. Or did you miss all the tv coverage of
predators getting nabbed.

Of course, that kind of thing is harder to do with if all you can do is bang on a hollow log.

Do you suppose in increase in blog comments causes a reduction in illogical rantings in offline spaces?
