SacBee Looks At Mckinleyville
Our very own town of Mckinleyville was the focus of a Sacramento Bee story today. Wonder what made them chose Mckinleyville?

I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. Wow, now the libs. have figured how to get paid for not cutting trees, that they were'nt going to cut in the first place.
Kind of reminds me of farmers gettin paid for not growing peas.
I wonder if planting a Redwood would be worth more than an Alder?
A whole new way to make money. I'm not planning to fly to Europe this year. How much do you think that'll be worth? Jack (McKinleyville Press) rides his bike everywhere. He oughtta be getting rich if this trend catches on!
The new forest will hold 4X the lumber. I wonder, does this really accomplish anything?
