I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. This blog will mostly focus on local political issues, but I may stray into state and national issues as well, when I can't help myself. Lots abuzz about Rand Paul's announcement he's running for president, at least in the forums and news feeds I frequent. I was in the perfect frame of mind yesterday to comment on him, but I'm not anymore. Stand by for a hard- hitting commentary sometime in the future when I'm back in the mood.

Heck, his catch phrase just about makes fun of her.
Rand Paul's ass kissing with the Religious Right caused me to lose any support I was willing to provide him.
If Rand can drop the religious shit 100%, he gets my vote. Until then, I'll be voting for Mickey Mouse.

Rand Paul and Scott Walker are too extreme for most folks and while they have their fans there's not enough of them to get them into the White House...
