Why Not To Vote For Presidential Candidates

Nice site that explains why you shouldn't want to vote for any of the current front runners in the Republican and Democratic presidential races. Click on their photos and you'll get an explanation. Notice Libertarian Party hopeful, Gary Johnson, isn't included so he's still a safe vote.

I got over encouraging people to vote a long time ago. Stay home! Don't vote! Makes my vote count all the more.

Huh. Was an early supporter of equal rights (for both black and gay Americans). Opposed the Patriot Act and its renewals. Opposed to America spying on its citizens. Supports restoring the middle class (half of all Americans today are low income or living in poverty). Voted against the Iraq War. Thanks for the confirmation that I want to vote for Bernie.

Way to go Julie I love the spirit even if I disagree.

Republicans love Fred's plan. They take political and policy initiatives to disenfranchise. It's a plan and here * is Paul Weyrich explaining it.

"Our leverage in elections goes up as the voting populace goes down."

Look at Fred's or any libertarian's ballots, they will align pretty closely with the Republican Party. Not exactly, but more so than not.

Fred, like Paul Weyrich has very little to lose if people don't vote. Those with money will inevitably have more influence than those without.

This isn't about freedom or even free markets as Fred would like to believe. It is about money be free of those darn regulations and conversations being free of that darn political correctness.

I agree. I will only vote in this election if Bernie Sanders is a candidate. I hope it's either Sanders or Trump as pres. Neither of them blanket themselves in religion. Yes, Donald is pretending to be religious now in order to get the Republican nomination, but everyone knows he's not. Neither will let our disastrous trade policies continue. Neither will get us into foolish, expensive wars like weve had in the last 50 years.

I honestly think trump is more of a liberal than a conservative. He is trying desperately to mirror the republication base and it's working really well. Watch him make a dramatic shift towards the center if he secures the nomination.

Yes, low voter turnout hurts Democrats. High voter turnout hurts Republicans. There are far far far more regular, hardworking Americans than there are elitist plutocrats

Good to hear Gary Johnson came out unscathed. He was a remarkable governor in NM. His state was in debt going into office, but ended up with Billion dollar surplus by the time he quit. Plus he believes in self responsibility.
I hope Carson becomes surgeon general.
If Bernie wins, our entire country will shut down. Already, 45% of the people don't pay income taxes, but instead live off the taxes the rest of nation involuntarily donates. As each upper tier of "rich" goes bankrupt or leaves the country, the next tier down will become the new "too rich" bracket. Down & down, one tier at a time, like a wedding cake, until there's nothing left but the crumbs. God help us all.

Nonsense. The "upper tier" doesn't fuel the economy. Consumer demand does. I would highly recommend taking an economics course or at least look up supply and demand theory. Fox news isn't accurate economic information, sorry

Fear mongering. Our country had its strongest economy when tax rates for the "upper tier" were upwards of 90%.

Worshiping the almighty dollar isn't usually seems as a good thing. You may want to rethink that plan.

4:35, how do businesses recoup their losses after paying taxes, fines, fees etc? They pass the cost on to the consumer. The bottom tiers always end up paying more until they can't afford to pay at all. When consumers can't purchase, companies can't produce.
Nonsense you say? Perhaps you should take an economic class or two.

Eisenhower raised marginal taxes, for the war. It was temporary. Bernie is permanent. Bernie is doling out free diplomas but not the jobs to go with them. Free diplomas, free healthcare, free crap does not come free. As the players fall, the remaining HAVE to pick up the pieces. That's not fear mongering, that's common sense.

Yes, part of the American downfall of corruption, fraud, pulling faces is for shoulder rubbers and socialite political wannabees who want Peter to be robbed to pay off Paul. At local levels, it is worse in elections.

Of course, if a constitutional amendment was created to "not validate any election" in which 75% voter turnout is not achieved, then Julie Timmons could not feel so arrogant.

Can't imagine less than 33% voter turnout isn't somewhere near in the future.

Agreed.

Bernie is more believable and will get arrested for being in the right. Hillary and Trump and others are liars.

Fred has very little to lose because the two party system frauds already made sure Fred would have nothing to lose because Fred is not allowed to "gain".

Economics 101 - Anonymous @ 4:35 pm is in denial.

America's economy fails when the pyramid schemes fail. (Why Hillary is supported)

Americas business environment is "to prey on growth, population".

America will fail because it is predicated on expansionism of people, people are consumers, consumers make millionaires and billionaires out of people like Hillary, or Trump, or GE upper elites, car company upper elites, alternative energy upper elites (Gore), military industrial complex elites, etc....

America is going down HARD!

Voting for idols doesn't work. Voting to repeal the the 14th A would. I wonder why none of the parties never "go there". From what I understand, it was illegally and forcefully implemented through a martial law takeover, to give corporations the almighty say. Fix the 14th and voila. No more party fighting.
Rah rah my party.
