Recycling Woes? Blame Government

The Times Standard looks at problems in the recycling industry here and elsewhere. Seems to me this is the result of government joining the hysterical environmental movement. Don't think so? Recycling worked fine earlier on before government got involved and required it, thus creating a glut of recycling goods which lowered their value.

Now more and more recycling centers are closing and it's hard to see a way out. The article mentions government officials meeting to try and fix the problem. I can't help but wonder if maybe they should just butt out? They might make the problem they created even worse.

But here's my belated thanks to the Eureka City Council and California state legislature for creating a problem where there shouldn't have been one in the first place.

And that's from someone who enjoyed recycling long before garbage service was forced on us to pay for it.

The problem is on the front end of regulation, not the back end of bandaided grandiose failures.

Recycling ONLY WORKS WHEN THE MATERIALS RECYCLED PAY WELL.

Gubbamint concocted a plan for one reason only - to tax a crv regardless if the consumer het crv back or not.

Gubbamint keeps building its structure od confusion to keep all of us lowers thinking while gubbamint just does it anyways.

Recycling has always had flaws too, especially with collection and distribution centers when travel/transport costs are so high (fuel, minimum wage increases, vehicle emission laws, smaller streets (like Arcata City Planners bloviate up the donkeys ass), etc....

Landfills - still get filled with recyclables.

Progressives - Mount the backside of a donkey, butt humping the poopers out of the donkey proclaiming all these great feel good ideas to spend tax dollars on, and in the end, the donkey is the one who gets a butt full of ingrown hairs, hemoroids and cysts, eventually contracting political HIV viruses.

Donkey = Voters who support their own butt humping.

The feds recently arrested a man, on felony charges, for taking 1000 plastic recyclable bottles to a center in a state that pays out 10 cents per return, instead of the typical 5 cents in his state. He now faces 5 years in prison & a $10,000 fine.
Vote Castle, end the feds.
