Ferndale Makes This List

Our very own village of Ferndale came in #8 on this list of Forty Small American Towns You Haven't Heard Of But Should Visit. Why Healdsburg is on the list much less #10 is beyond me. I guess there's no accounting for taste. Capitola #30, wherever that is, is the last California town I found.

Capitola is a beach town on Monterey Bay just south of Santa Cruz and it is similar to Laguna Beach in that both have numerous artists living there. It is worth a visit.

i been to half those places
worked in sonoma county for 19 years and i think healdsburg is the best of all that county has to offer . unless you like ocean then maybe bodega bay .
healdsburg has many many tv commercials filmed there to show off the town and area . great restaurants and some really nice wine tasteing to make ewe tipe funny and also motels close so you dont have to drive funny . lots of movie stars have called healdsburg home .
think you only stayed over night fred , try a week just checking out the area . i worked there like i said 19 years and im still finding new and fun places every time i go there

Amazingly enough, I wholeheartedly agree with Rick on this one
