In Defense of Kratom

Copblock publishes what amounts to a defense of kratom- the plant facing attack by the Drug Enforcement Administration. They emphasize its beneficial uses, citing a girl who used it to get away from a cocktail of legal drugs she was prescribed. The writer seems to agree with me when I wrote yesterday that the DEA needed a new bogeyman with public sentiment rising against the pot wars:

"Why would the DEA close the door on something that provides legitimate pain relief and prevents overdoses—a substance whose  most serious side effects are “stomach upset and vomiting?”
Because they are fighting for their very existence."

Bullcrap big pharma monopoly needs to hid the skids. Darrell Castle plans on taking those arseholes down beginning his first day in office. No drug war allowed under his watch.
