Hate Trump? Don't Pay Taxes

The Daily Sheeple reports on threats by some anti- Trump forces to withhold taxes while he's president. That was earlier on and I must have missed it. I think it's a good idea, though. After all, that's the way to attack government: Starve the beast! The Daily Sheeple makes a good case for it:

"If the goal is to put an end to the injustice and corruption of a government, anybody who’s dissatisfied is morally entitled to stop paying taxes. After all, voluntary transactions among individuals are only carried out if both parties are satisfied with the product. Once dissatisfaction becomes a factor, you cease the transaction — why can’t we do the same with the government?"

Ok, Trump hating Democrats (looking at you Julie T. and Eric K.), I'll be waiting to see if you'll put your money where your mouth is.

Problem with social revolt in a society of so much easy life compared to centuries ago is.....today the combatant has dependencies too costly now to just up and revolt, leaving the family home alone......sure, it is easy to do the same on foreign land as a military job,but not here at home as a defender against tyranny, apparently.

Economics lessens the likelihood of a revolt when only bits and pieces are economically being abused on behalf of the masses, but when the masses are effected, that is when revolt is at its most effective opportunity.....hence why gubbamint only focuses on all out abuse versus bits and pieces.....it is the switch that defines when on is on and off is off.

Hence Pyramid Schemes of societal construction...SSA, IRS, etc.......

But don't the republicans also want to abolish the IRS? If they do that, what's to stop us from only paying local taxes? Of course that's a dumb ass idea but its the kind of stuff you hear from the GOP hard right. We need more money so we get rid of the people that collect it? Go figure.

Fred, explain how breaking the law (not paying taxes) would be us Democrats putting our money where our mouth is. Is that how libertarians think? If you don't like a law, you just violate it? Huh? Not paying taxes doesn't come close to falling under the category of civil disobedience.
