St. Elsewhere

Speaking of hospitals; Let's hope we don't end up like some other places around the state. Looks like Los Angeles is having some real problems with their emergency rooms. Some of them are refusing patients for up to 20 hours a day(!!!).

Interesting true story:
One night in south central L.A. Leonidas while employed as one of L.A. County's "finest", was approached by one of the local pimps who requested to reserve an "EAP" for one of his "ho's". EAP (Emergency Aid Plan)was a system whereby a deputy sheriff would issue a chit to a private ambulance company and emergency room for medical care whereby the county would guarantee payment for emergency trauma victims. The pimp stated: "the bitch got knocked up and is due in a couple o' weeks".
Leonidas believes the water has now flooded that deck.
