I'm a Libertarian living in Humboldt County, CA. I've lived here in Eureka since 1973 and joined the Libertarian Party in 1992. The Orange County Register takes a look at California's reputation as a state with a bad business tax climate. The Tax Foundation rates us at 45 out of 50, three spots lower than last year.

The best states are, in order, Wyoming, South Dakota, Alaska, Nevada and Florida. After California, the worst states are Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Ohio and, worst of the worst: Rhode Island.
