Honoring Jim Howard

The Lost CoasstOutpost reports on a ceremony honoring former Eureka City Council dude, Jim  Howard. For those that don't know, Jim Howard is a negro (gasp, there's that N word again!). looks like lots of people showed up for the event, enough to convince me we won't end up back  in the days of slavery if we didn't have a Civil Rights Act as many readers have suggested here previously.

It's my natural"Pollyanna"nature! Maybe we're helping keep balance(dynamic equilibrium) in the world with our different personalities! Look for the silver lining, when'er a cloud appears on the blue. Remember somewhere the sun is shining, and so the right thing to do let it shine for you. A heart full of joy and gladness will always banish sadness and fright. So always look for the silver lining, and keep your mind on the sunny side of life.๐ŸŽผ๐ŸŽน๐ŸŽต My grandmother would sing that to me occasionally, it must be an oldie but goodie.

It's about time they honored him! He was so friendly & nonchalant, even to those of us wearing sneakers. I've missed him & his shoe stand tremendously.
