Strange Animal Hoarder

Some of you animal folks may be interested in this follow up on a guy in Sonoma County who was charged with having a whole bunch of rats in his house a while back. Pretty colorful, if not bizarre, character. I mean, what's this thing about way back in the '60s his apartment being used as a hideout by the kidnappers of Frank Sinatra Jr?

If you haven't seen the movie "Stealing Sinatra" with William Macy and David Arquette, I highly recommend it -- it weird but very funny. It seems that Frank Sinatra, Jr. really was kidnapped and held for ranson, although he was suspected of setting it up himself to get attention.

If you haven't see the movie "Shaun of the Dead" with many no-name actors,I highly recommend it -- it's weird but very funny. It seems people really did suddenly become zombies and wanted to eat uman flesh, although it took Shaun a while to realize people had become zombies and to do something about it.

This guy is a real nutcase. I lived aboard a sailboat for 23 years mostly with 1 or 2 cats. The younger ones occasionally will fall overboard when playing on deck. All you have to do is hang a towel or carpet covered plank over the side when at the dock or at anchor and they climb back on board. They will not play on deck when the boat is under way. Like many "liveaboards" in the bay area he wouldn't make a pimple on a sailor's ass.
