Can You Buy A Gun?
I've always wondered if I'm on the Do Not Fly list so when I found this site, which claims to be able to tell you what a background check prior to buying a gun would find on you, I jumped on it. Yes, I knew it was likely one of those BS sites that finds just your address and who you might be married to and that's about it. Yes, it did tell me that.
After sitting there watching their little slider progress bar go back and forth, it finally told me next to nothing, but maybe that's because I wouldn't pay the $27.78 it asked for after it was supposedly done. Yep, works just like all those other background sites.
If any of you have $27.78 to spare, along with the 20 minutes or so it takes to go through the process, give it a try and let us know what it finds out about you. As for me, I guess I'll have to try and buy a gun to see if I'm on the No Fly list.

I'm sure you can buy a gun... Just depends on who you buy it from.
Exactly.
Ex cops eventually sell their guns too, stockpiles at times.

It is like so many sites, bait and switch.
Life = One HUGE Bait and Switch because MOST people are LIARS!

Fred, fyi - Hanson explained that having the weapon and the marijuana together was not illegal. “[It’s] not against the law to have an unloaded gun. We took [it] for safekeeping. To get it back, [the owner would] have to go through a Department of Justice background check.”

According to Gavin Newsom it's easier to get a gun than a happy meal in California so it shouldn't be an issue Fred.

It's been pointed out elsewhere that there are more gun dealers than McDonald's restaurants in California, but I'm not so sure that's true. Guns are fairly expensive everywhere and more gun control laws are passed every year in this state. Of course, the latest I read is, of the slew of gun control bills passed in the state legislature recently, none apply to any state legislators. They made sure they were exempt.

H.O.J., All people are liars. Most of us lie as a coping mechanism to make others or ourselves feel more comfortable. The is a variation in the quantity and severity of lies told. No lies are good, however most people do not want to harm or take advantage of another person. Of course, I'm not talking about pathological liars. A banker once told me that was one of the most honest people he ever met. And that's the truth! Ha, ha!
Whoops, it left out the I in I was one of the most honest.
It's easy to tell, without paying a dime. The splc has an overall groupie list, with an individual or two.
Basically, if you are a libertarian, conservative, against animal abuse, oppose any liberal crap, signed petitions, fought for any of your rights, go to church, hunt, fish, say incorrect words... seriously, there is a list of words they use as triggers, such as lavender, orchids, pets, job, continued for eternity which puts every single person on the list eventually.
Not everyone lies, so we disagree.
