Debra Saunders Picks Gary Johnson

San Francisco Chronicle columnist Debra Saunders has gone public saying she'll be voting for Libertarian Party candidate, Gary Johnson, for president. I'm not totally surprised. She's the Chronicle's token "conservative" writer, but I've often seen libertarian sentiment in one column or another of hers.

Her reasoning for picking Johnson makes sense to me, of course. What doesn't make sense to me is that more so- called conservatives don't think along the same lines, although I'm well aware partisan loyalty is akin to religion to many:

"The GOP nominee lacks conviction, character and self-control."
