Tom Hannah On Eureka's Ward System

Former City of Eureka busy body, Tom Hannah, has a column in today's Times- Standard where he makes the case against switching to a ward system for Eureka's elections:

"Returning your city to a system of ward elections would only invite the return of an environment dominated by limited decision making! This would be detrimental to the quality of life in Eureka."

I'm not sure about that. It seems more to me as if the lefities are just trying again to divide people playing their usual us vs them game.

Quite the statement... I think the ward voting change would have little to zero impact. I'm guessing someone is more worried about how to get those he supports elected.

Quality of life and Eureka don't belong in the same sentence.

How old is Hannah because his memory of Eureka must be an archaic reflection over 50 years out.
